Announcers For The Sweet Sixteen Games

(Bring on the upsets so I can scream!!!)

Keeping you up to date on the tournament's announcing duos is one of the most important responsibilities of this blog. For the sweet sixteen...fans of Louisville, Arizona, Kansas, and Michigan State won the Gus Johnson sweepstakes. Bill Raftery will be doing the Pitt game again, which has me feeling really good. However, there has been an undercurrent of Verne Lundquist "hating", which I hope to explore further in the near future. Villanova fans also get the Raftery/Lundquist combo. North Carolina fans get CBS's #1 team of Jim Nantz and Clark Kellogg. Tar Heel nation (and EVERYONE else) can rejoice in the fact that Billy Packer isn't Nantz's partner this year. There are some great match-ups here along with some great announcing teams. Let's get ready for more madness!

  1. Has this website been shut down? Is UCONN not in serious heat? Are there not 4 Sweet 16 games tonight? Is Eric Devendorf not the purest shooter in college basketball? Has Desmond lost his love of the game? Were there really 2 gunmen on the grassy knoll?
