(I Don't Owe You Like Two Vowels)For those that did not know...Lil Wayne (aka: Weezy, Weezy F. Baby, Birdman Jr., etc) currently has a "blog" on the ESPN website. On it, one can find out the thoughts and opinions of the one-time Cash Money Millionaire with regard to sports. Someone is obviously ghost writing this thing...but it's great/moronic that Lil Wayne has a blog on ESPN. What does he have to do with sports you may ask? Well...probably about as much as I have to do with rap. Apparently Weezy has already ran out of things to blog about, so this week, he answered some questions from fans in a mailbag column. Hmmm...that gives me a good idea. Start writing me questions and I'll answer them in an easy-to-digest mailbag column sometime! Anyhoo...here is a question posed to Weezy that forces the greatest rapper alive to reveal his cards about the NCAA Tournament:
Wayne, at the beginning of the season you said you had UNC as the team winning the NCAA tournament. With selection Sunday coming soon, do you still think they are gonna win it? -- James (Alexandria, VA)
- Lil Wayne: Yes, James. I still have UNC, because they know how to be champions. They know what it smells like and what it feels like to be No. 1. Other teams keep jumping up to No. 1 and losing the next night. You can't do that kind of thing when the Sweet Sixteen rolls around or you're done. I really believe that Carolina has the character to win out. I think teams like Duke and Syracuse are going to struggle in the tournament and lose early. Look for UNC to go all the way.
